According to Zachary Levi, the Shazam! sequel is expected begin filming in late Spring or early Summer 2020:

"Levi said the film created a bigger platform for his career. The actor said scriptwriting for the sequel has already begun and expects to start filming either in late spring or early summer next year."

Which means they will basically shoot Shazam 2 and Black Adam simultaneously?

I think that if Dwayne Johnson is in some capacity in Shazam 2, WB will arrange the filming of both movies to fit his schedule.

Also, how many DC movies are set to be filmed next year? Are they going to release a DC film every 2 months in 2021?

I'd shoot both movies at the same time and then divide them in two, with BLACK ADAM coming out in the summer and SHAZAM 2! the following winter. But apparently there's a diffferent director for BLACK ADAM, so I don't think they'll pull a Salkind.

    The Suicide Squad- September 2019
    The Flash- November 2019 (?)
    The Batman- December 2019
    Supergirl- Early 2020 (?)
    Black Adam- Spring 2020
    Shazam 2- Spring/Summer 2020

That's off the top of my head.

Isn't New Gods aiming to start filming in 2020 too?

Maybe. I have no idea when though. Dont think it's been reported on.

I believe Snyder wants to release his whole cut of JL as B&W pics. 🤣 Here's young Darkseid:

He's released so many pics, you could just make a Director's Cut Flip Book.

If they’re smart they will lock down James Gunn with a huge contract.
I feel like these are just made up but honestly pretty sure bets at this point. We will get a Teen Titans movie at some point in the DCEU's lifespan, giving Gunn more to do feels like a "No Duh" and I doubt Cavill is still around otherwise he would've cameoed in Shazam. Like that's a couple hours on set to make that happen, he would spend more time in make-up and getting suited up than having to act. I feel like he's gone at this point.

Since Gunn is going back to Disney to make GOTG 3, isn't it possible they will keep him so busy there that he'll never have time for more DC movies?

It depends. I know there were rumors or murmurs that Gunn was going to be cultivating the cosmic corner of the MCU before he got fired, but I think Feige debunked that.

He showed interest in doing Adam Warlock but outside of that and finishing GotG Vol 3 I don't really see him wanting to stay at Marvel.
