What's all this talk about Tom Cruise, has there been any substantial rumors that I've missed?

Nah, it's just the regular clickbait nonsense among the resident scoopers.

The Wonder Woman theme music (first used in BATMAN V SUPERMAN) is the only super-hero theme from recent movies that I can recognize whenever I hear it.

It makes me so damn happy that the Wonder Woman theme is right up there with Williams’ Superman theme and Elfman’s Batman theme. The Trinity are the only heroes with these great scores.

I'm not sure I like this decision. While Zimmer is without a doubt an excellent composer, I'm still thinking that if they replaced Rupert Gregson-Williams, they should have looked for a woman. Instead of taking a step forward or staying in place, this feels like a step backwards.

And I'd say that Zimmer's theme from BvS only managed to capture half of Wonder Woman's character (though that was the part that he needed to capture at the time). Gregson-Williams took that work and created a theme for the other, and arguably more important, half when he composed "No Man's Land" and created a theme for a compassionate warrior.

Cruise as Hal, Trevante Rhodes as John. You've got your movie right there.

No thanks. Hal should not be 30 years older than John.
