Confirms that Robert Pattinson's movies are their own separate universe.
Hope not - there should be a regular Batman somewhere in that verse.
Although I am glad to have Pattinson's Batman be a separate thing.

Keaton simply playing a Batman Beyond-esque mentor figure would actually be a far less Batman stealing the spotlight from Flash situation than Thomas Wayne Batman.

Probably depends on how extensive a mentor he is in this situation. Will there be an expectation he'll suit up at some point?

Eh, merging Earths is a little dull now.

As much as I would greatly prefer a hard reboot of the DCEU this approach isn’t half bad, and might make it stand out as unique compared to the MCU.

Keaton would need to go full Bat-Mecha to pose a legitimate threat. Even then it might just be for a climax scene, not a full Batman and The Flash situation.

That's literally the reason they have chosen to go with Flashpoint. To "soft reboot" the current main DC universe. Introducing the concept of multiple universes is just an accidental perk.

Maybe - but I am more interested in leaning into the whole multiverse thing as a way to have many more takes on characters and stories rather than just to reboot to mentor Batman and whatever is done with Superman.

They should definitely go forward with Supergirl and Batgirl if they are ditching the Rpatz Batman movies into their own elseworld

I think it depends how they handle it. He probably won't be moving around like Affleck did.

Are they going to revive those projects?

I guess those are the only major ones people care about...

The fact that Reeves Batman will remain a stand-alone separate universe tells me that Matt Reeves didn’t want his universe connected to a shared universe. I’d imagine there were some consideration but Reeves likely made it clear that he wanted to take the Chris Nolan route with his Batman and leave it as it’s own universe. Warners really does respect their filmmakers. They get to have their cake and eat it too.

Um... what? What does this have to do with Joker?
