So The Batman made about 100 million this weekend, and when everything settles down will have made 600 million Worldwide. This is it's third weekend. It won't have competition for the next week.

For the next few weeks it's will be is Morbius, Sonic and eventually Fantastic Beasts. I doubt any of them will be very successful, but a new blockbuster is still more likely to eat the whole cake than a movie that has been in theaters for weeks.

Could it make another 100 million this next weekend? If it doesn't, I don't see how it gets to 800 million.

I think Sonic 2 will do well. I mean, the first movie was a surprise smash hit and it seems like the sequel is doing everything right, near as I can tell (especially as a fan).

I haven't seen The Batman but I would be there opening day for this, so it's good in all context.

Personally, I'd rather see them get through some of Batman's less-appreciated villains from the comics before they start mining the 60s TV show. Like, can I not get Clayface in a live action movie?

Dunno if Clayface is too “fantastical” for Reeves.

Depends what kind of Clayface we get. The giant mud monster who can transform into anything is what people know him for, but there were other Clayfaces. Even Basil Karlo was initially just an actor turned phantom of the opera-esque killer.

Eric Bennet would be a great choice
