DC/WB Films/Worlds (No Spoilers)

I kind of hope separate continuity. Just not feeling the shared universe, so I would like a few more things to separate from it. I know that we got The Batman, Joker, Arrowverse, and whatever universe/s Titans, Stargirl, and Doom Patrol are in, but it's still rather DCEU heavy. I'd like a more 50/50 mix of in and out of universe content, and the YA stuff seems like a good fit for a separate continuity.

I literally named all of the out of universe stuff, and it's literally just two films and the lower budget tv stuff. Unless you think that literally everything DC needs to be in universe I don't see how you can possibly argue that it's too much. Especially since the in universe stuff is so hit and miss anyways.

I guess it all depend son how WB views their live-action properties and how committed they are to interlinking or just letting everything stand on its own.

I mean, you can't really do this story without Black Manta and Jackson's backstory, but you don't have to explicitly tie it to the movies.

I noticed that too. Not reading in to it right now but they paid him $500 million to make stuff for them until 2023 and he hasn’t done jack yet. Dunno if Zaslov will renew the deal, guess it depends on how the JLD stuff does.

Does being an exec producer men’s anything? Snyder gets exec producer credit for every movie that uses actors he cast but he’s not involved. I think this is just a case of Abrams wanting to claim credit for something good.
