Personally if Batgirl wasn't so great I'd have rather have seen that for myself than just canning the whole thing (test audiences aren't everything).

maybe there isn't a plan for a reboot and they'll just scrap a bunch more shows and movies, and we'll just end up getting a lot less dc content.
How about you IGNORE that test audience???
How many movies have they loved that turned out to be BOMBS?
How many movies have they HATED that were hits like Dirty Dancing? The Little Mermaid (test audiences wanted Part of your World song CUT), Pretty in Pink, Goodfellas (folks WALKED OUT of the test screening) and lets not forget test audiences HATING Friends, Powerpuff Girls, Sienfield and South Park.
$100 million already spent?
Sorry this gets put out. Limit your promotion and let the chips FALL.
Let it be a stand alone film.
Because this just makes your company even more unattractive to folks and I DOUBT anyone wants the WB to hand the keys to someone like a Tyler Perry or Abrams and say save our studio by being CHEAP.
I wouldn't be shocked if the new heads figured if the audience didn't like it the first time better just to rid themselves of it.
If anything, I don't think there's room for anything but perfection. This isn't necessarily bad, but I can't imagine the film was so bad a few reshoots couldn't salvage at least a decent project. But, that may not have been enough.
Currently Reading: DC v. Vampires / Batman: Urban Legends / Robin / Nightwing / Mister Miracle: The Source of Freedom
I'm glad they scrapped Batgirl, if it was bad, then it shouldn't be released.

We need Disney need to liberate DC from Warner Bros
I'd rather DC just continue to have no clue and suck, or to just give up.
We don't need Disney owning a new swath of creative IPs.

Exactly. Disney owns too much stuff that other people created already.

I feel like it's still going to come out somehow. It won't be the start of a new franchise or anything, but it will probably be given an unceremonious streaming debut down the line like New Mutants.
Warner Bros is bar none the most incompetent studio in Hollywood. Even Disney eventually released new mutants.
