It's just funny to me that they're using King Shark since I think he was planned to be in the original, but Ayer traded him for Killer Croc because he didn't want to have a CG character be part of the Squad.

Never knew that. Disappointing really because Killer Croc in his most popular design would've won him brownie points.

That is a terrible line-up for Suicide Squad! So we go from having an insanely diverse cast with tons of chemistry together and some cool power sets, to that? God i hope that rumor is false!! Sounds terrible, and this is coming from somone who was hyped for SS2.
Done with DC. Can't handle the constant whiplash! Time to go on a hiatus!

I expect the cast will still be diverse. We've still got a black Deadshot, Waller, and Ratcatcher is an open casting...

And there will probably be more characters.

So people are already giving reactions to Shazam on twitter. Don't know if it's strictly fans but so far they're positive.

Had no idea reactions were dropping plus it's so early. WB must be confident.

Not one bad reaction yet. SHAZAM will be a crowd pleaser for sure.

#SHAZAM is like Superman 1978, The Goonies, & Harry Potter all rolled into one movie!

I hope Captain Boomerang comes back. Only time I liked Jai Courtney.

Keep in mind these are just the social media reactions, the actual reviews won't be out until March 27th, but the general wording of these reactions and the early review embargo do bode well for Shazam as far as critical reception may go.

Here is one critic (aside from Den of Geek)

    Mark Hughes

    @markhughesfilms

@ShazamMovie is what you’d get if Spielberg has made a superhero movie in the 1980s. It’s going to be a big hit & immensely popular w/critics & audiences. #Shazam

Ah gotcha. Just edited to say reaction instead of reviews thanks.

Y'know, I've been thinking...watching the trailers and how they're approaching the movie, and with how Superman on-screen looks to be in limbo for now, I genuinely wonder if we might see Shazam poised to become the cinematic Superman of this generation.

Considering what DC did to Fawcett because of the similarities between Supes and Captain Marvel...it would be kind of ironic.

If Harley, Deadshot, and Waller are still in it I would expect them to keep Boomerang too.

Especially since popular consensus is that Captain Boomerang was Jai Courtney's best role.

If only he'd actually done impressive things with his boomerangs in that movie - so much potential for cool trickshots, etc. with him, but no - it was the Harley and Deadshot show.
