As much as I would greatly prefer a hard reboot of the DCEU this approach isn’t half bad, and might make it stand out as unique compared to the MCU.

Keaton would need to go full Bat-Mecha to pose a legitimate threat. Even then it might just be for a climax scene, not a full Batman and The Flash situation.
That's literally the reason they have chosen to go with Flashpoint. To "soft reboot" the current main DC universe. Introducing the concept of multiple universes is just an accidental perk.
They should definitely go forward with Supergirl and Batgirl if they are ditching the Rpatz Batman movies into their own elseworld
Sorry, ate supper and when I reloaded the page it reposted

THEY laughed at me when I said Joker was a DCEU film, now I'm laughing.

The fact that Reeves Batman will remain a stand-alone separate universe tells me that Matt Reeves didn’t want his universe connected to a shared universe. I’d imagine there were some consideration but Reeves likely made it clear that he wanted to take the Chris Nolan route with his Batman and leave it as it’s own universe. Warners really does respect their filmmakers. They get to have their cake and eat it too.
