Because sidekicks are lame concept and you don’t really need any of them beside Robin for a Titans film anyway. Rumors saying WW3 will be a female heroes team up film and have lots of action (Supergirl and Hawkgirl showing up apparently)

Hopefully that ends up being as false as Randolph's "WW84 will be the Flashpoint of the DCEU" rumor ended up being.

The WW franchise has more than enough female characters in it that need the screen time way more than unrelated guest stars considering we're not exactly swimming in solo Wonder Woman media. The sequel already wasted a valuable chance by giving the Amazons only one scene and forcing Cheetah to share screen time with a a non-WW foe. The last thing we need is Supergirl and Hawkgirl taking up space.

I mean, the MCU has tons of sidekicks, although not many of the teen variety like DC does.

Nothing against Asteria, but I'd trade her for Donna, Cassie, Nubia or Artemis any day.

If new characters are going to be included in the next Wonder Woman, I hope it's limited to her supporting cast like Nubia, Artemis, etc.

I am absolutely not seeing a Wonder Woman movie to see Supergirl or Hawkgirl or whoever the hell else they randomly shoe-horn into it.

Christ, when a shared universe sucks, it really drags everything down.

I hope it’s true! Hawkgirl and Supergirl teaming with Wonder Woman would be so cool! Don’t really care for any of Diana’s female characters, Yara and Cassie are decent though, but I’d still rather have Shayera and Kara over them.

Also whether WW fans like it or not, Maxwell Lord is now a Wonder Woman villain!

But the general audience would be thrilled to see characters they recognize teaming with Diana and that’s what’s important! Getting people to see WW3 after the travesty that was WW84

In a movie that was liked far less than the previous one.

Or they could just make a good movie, like the first one which didn't need a bunch of random DC characters shoe-horned into it.

And how pathetic is that mentality? "We have so little faith in the protagonist, we need to pile in random other characters that have nothing to do with them into it to sucker in idiots."

I'm not a Flash guy, but it is profoundly lame his first movie involves him sharing the spotlight with a Batman and a Supergirl and whoever else.

If this really is the future of DC's movies--just a hodge-podge of unrelated characters crammed together at random--just burn the whole thing down.

Wonder Woman teaming up with Supergirl and Hawkgirl is a fine idea for a JL spin off, but not for WW3. We already have a Flash movie hijacked by Batman.

Don’t know why we’re still treating Grace as legit. Her big claim about WW1984 was wrong, she clearly doesn’t have the inside scoop on what Patty is up to.

Well it’s what DC needs at the moment. A good movie isn’t bringing in audiences either as we’ve seen with The Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey and Shazam!

Audiences want connectivity! To see these characters they like team up and grow! Diana has already been in 4 films, 5 with the Flash, so she’s had plenty of development! Captain America teamed up with the other Avengers and had Spider-Man/Black Panther debut in his third film! Why can’t Diana team with Hawkgirl and Supergirl in her third? There’s already history there with the Amazon’s training Kara and Shayera has ties to Egypt, where the Bana Mighdall/Artemis are from. There’s your connections!

DC’s problem is it’s lack of connectivity, their films will continue to bomb (outside of Batman) without it!

    Because she isn't Captain America?

Diana has already been in 4 films, 5 with the Flash, so she’s had plenty of development!
Then why do we need more team ups? At this rate, she's been in more movies with other non-Wonder Woman characters than one focusing on just her.

DC’s problem is it’s lack of connectivity, their films will continue to bomb (outside of Batman) without it!
Birds of Prey and Shazam did have connectivity and still didn't pull in as much money. Aquaman and Wonder Woman were standalone films and are among the most financially successful movies produced by DC. Audiences may like connectivity but it isn't a necessity for them.

There’s already history there with the Amazon’s training Kara and Shayera has ties to Egypt, where the Bana Mighdall/Artemis are from. There’s your connections!
The connection to Shayera is flimsy at best and Kara being trained by the Amazons hasn't mattered in years. You're better off doing a movie with Diana and Artemis than shoehorning two characters from different properties into a third WW film.

Also, for someone who thinks sidekicks are a lame concept, it's odd that you're supportive of two characters who were created to be sidekicks to male characters being used in a Wonder Woman movie.

DC's problem is its lack of consistent quality.

Then watch WW3 underperform. Lack connectivity, poor response to the second film and adding unknown characters is a recipe for a disaster.

I think sidekicks are a lame concept and the DCEU is too young a franchise for legacies. Also Hawkgirl has long surpassed Hawkman and is definitely not his sidekick. Supergirl is one of DC’s most popular female characters, unlike Donna/Cassie/Yara/Nubia/Artemis.
