I think it's not DC's fault. Jimenez said several times that replacing Lois was his idea. And judging by DC's actions, they were not happy about what Jimenez did and decided to invalidate everything he did. They didn't even advertise the comic.

I don't know what DC was thinking by getting Lois' Superwoman out of her OWN title. I really understand that people like Lana's character, but it wasn't the right move. 
The comic was promoted as a Lois Lane book, and then...boom! she's dead and someone else is replacing her.
I hope DC decides to make her a Superwoman in the main universe. All Star Superman in which Lois became Superwoman is the most successful comic in the history of Superman. DC changed the origin of Wonder Woman. Why not turn Lois into a Superwoman? In addition, Lois is a successful character and it can guarantee the success of the comic.
