He's not. DickBatman only has a handful of scenes in the main Batman series and is mostly off-panel. I guess you could also count Batgirl #25 as having Dick as Batman.

Dick's thread will always talk about his costume, love life, and how he should be better than Batman no matter the quality of his series.

yeah no, i doubt if dick was having a great run then the thing people would constantly talk about is his costume, beyond some ardent NW costume fanatics costume generally was the last thing people talked about whether it was dickbats under Morison, grayson or Nw's first arc under seeley, people were much more excited about possible scenarios in the future then his fingersripes every time dick was having a a good run with lot of momentum, it's only when his book loses momentum that the posts about his costume increase in number and are much more visible as there are no longer drowned by posts talking about possible future developments

i don't doubt that his love life and his stature in the universe were frequent topic of discussion, i was part of those discussions after all, but costumes are the bottom of the barrel discussions, they are the things people talk about when they are checked out of the run, not really feeling it but still supporting NW, that is when minutiae of story starts getting focused on, costume being one of them, things you would not have noticed if you were into the run

There was quite a bit of discussion over this technophobe angle. Simmered down now, but I’m sure discusses will pick up once Dick gets hurt. The truth is there isn’t much goning on with Dick in general, beyond the traditional stuff.

Come on, you know it can't be permanent and will be retconned by the next Nightwing writer if Percy himself doesn't bring the Oracle Dick to an end in his run. If Percy can really pull off a good detective story I am fine with the injury thing.That being said, when was the last time I read a decent detective story in DC comics...
