I was wondering what people thought of the Iron Man animated movie? I've never seen much mention of it. Personally I thought it was kind of bizarre towards the end.

If you are talking about this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NheKLWKDY5I. I thought it was meh. I liked however the way that they got Tony's character before and after the cave incident with Yinsen.

The Crossing feels frustrating to me and even more so that few writers have even learned from it. The art is primarily the worst part about it as while it's not the worst the 90's had to offer, it was still genuinely bad and felt unfinished.
There is some good as while I can't get behind Teen Tony, the confrontation between old and young Stark is pretty good and I was invested in the Warwear stuff with Rhodey, even if it didn't have anything much to do with the event. The crossing armor itself while not as good as the modular armor preceding it is a nice inversion on Iron man. Taking the heroic elements and exaggerating them as if Tony is overcompensating makes sense given that Tony himself is basically losing his mind during the event. Basically trying too hard to look the part even if he himself isn't in the best of shape.
But for trying to say Iron man's been a villain for years and having Tony murder the Avenger's nanny was just bad. Especially given that it never amounted to anything and Teen Tony being part fixing the mess and part copying the success of competitor titles.
I did get my collection on the cheap though so I guess it was worth it if only to study the corpse of a bad event.

For anyone that needs to know why OMD is awful please search the internet for Linkara' s video's specifically his One more day review or his One more day Analysis.
Tony fans might want to pick up the Immortal Hulk. I'm sure there will be divided opinions in the Avengers fandom.

Once again, Stark unleashes a "can't lose" plan that will inevitably have severely mixed consequences. The device needs to self destruct at this point. It will eventually get co-opted by a villain or villain team, and... "let's see what city can be blown up and Tony can offer "geez, I goofed!" as an excuse and it's all good"....
