Ah so true the 90s were really hard for Wolverine, Spidey or even Iron Man who became a traitor and was replaced by a younger version of himself, so many dumb decisions. This scene was so great especially Peter saying that he beat Firelord so he can talk to Logan without any problem and then after sitting next to Logan: "That's it I'm dead"
Those little moments during the Hama's run were some of my favourites, the scenes with Jean and Scott, the campfire issue as you said or Logan having fun with Sam Guthrie and racing him towards the nearest bar. Thinking about it each time Logan made an X-Man drunk, it often ended in a fight with the Juggernaut lol.
Yeah it's closer to Aaron's early take (before his run on the main Wolverine ongoing), one thing I remember is that Claremont didn't want to reveal too much about Logan's past and that it should stay a mystery so something along the lines: "The less we know about him, the better". An advice Marvel should have followed especially in recent years
