I personally want him to come back and so we will be closer to seeing the true Cyclops, if he stays he may be for years before the real Cyclops returns (in addition to the problems with the timeline)

This was a powerful moment, definitely one of the best of the issue. I think it's a tease as to what we're in for during and after Extermination. I suspect that Marvel is really going to try and move the X-books forward without Cyclops in the mix, at least temporarily. That seems to be the trend in other comics these days, taking the old guard away from the front lines for a while and letting others step up. It rarely lasts. I doubt Marvel will keep Cyclops MIA for long, especially given how poorly his death was handled. At the very least, I hope Extermination or Uncanny X-men set up his return. But I have a feeling that there will be a significant span of time in which there is no Cyclops in the X-books.
