I feel like Scott and Jean would have been super chill grandparents who love to babysit Ruby or Rachel's kids if we got some kind of normal aging in the comics

I know one of my friends who loves Cyclops.

My fear is that Scott isn't coming back in these 6months.It will take her 6 months to get a move on & then Cyke will be back for the drama.

This is my problem, I'm sure that in 2019 Scott will come back, maybe in summer or winter. Jean has been single all year and if they give her a love interest just before Scott comes back to create more drama and love triangles, you do not know how much I gonna hates you Marvel.

Yeah, I noticed that too. But he didn't specify and when asked if it was someone she hadn't kissed before, he said "Maybe." That could just be trolling or it could mean there are other circumstances to consider. Keep in mind that within the next six months, the Skrulls are coming back to coincide with the Captain Marvel movie. Plus, Mystique is still running around and you never know what she's going to get caught up in.

Ideally, Uncanny X-men Annual #1 will help set up Cyclops' return. Maybe that'll include some kind of kiss, similar to what we got in Phoenix Resurrection. That would make my year.

That said, I think if Cyclops is coming back, it's not going to happen all at once. I think that'll be part of another event in 2019 or 2020, depending on how much Marvel wants to drag it out.

if that kiss is just a flashback or Jean really finds Scott and they kiss but Scott wants to stay hidden and appear progressively like Logan is doing. Jean understands it and lets him take care of his busines before returning with the X-men, I would really be happy but I doubt this will happen.

Oh wow...some Cyclops positivity on CBR. I don't think he should be praised as a 'powerful' character though, what makes Cyclops interesting is not his raw power but rather the choices he makes and responsibilities he takes on. A lot of the items on the CBR lists are actually about him making tough choices and showing resilience and not about being powerful. Except for Mr Sinister's obsession with him. That's just Sinister being weird and I don't get why it's on the list

Most CBR articles are crap and this is no different. Definitely misinformed. Did they not realize that Scott was dead in DoX and his actions were actually Emma? That was a major plot point.

Scott also didnt sanction Uncanny X-Force. He had nothing to do with that incarnationn

Y'know....with characters having an appreciation thread in their own forum, you'd think these authors would run by their writing through at least one user. We don't even need to be paid actual currency-- just a shout-out would be enough.
