Now is me not knowing what you guys are talking about, I never seen Fullmetal Alchemist.

You must watch it! It’s my favorite anime, I watch it every year. It’s got spectacular characters, wonderful world-building, great music, and a story about brothers. I’m a sucker for “brother” stories and Brotherhood gives me everything I want.

As Gray stated, there’s a character named Roy Mustang who you could consider a Scott expy, so it’s got you covered there.

If you ignore all the Sinister, that would actually be a pretty good ending to the franchise as a whole.

I still have to watch JJ S2, Iron Fist S2, and Luke Cage S2. JJ I'm happy to watch, but the other two are just "all right, let's churn through these". It looks so hype, though.

Just 4 more episodes to go. Man, it's been a ride! Matt's development, the way he fails due to his rage is amazing. and what a pair of beasts are both Fisk and Dex. I hope this finak stretch doesn't disappoint.

I'm not terribly sure about that. Mustang has certain traits, but a lot of those are fairly general traits. There's some Scott (the pragmatic tactician), some Logan (the death seeking atoner for the crimes he wished he could take back), and even a little Emma (using his looks and charm to further his agenda of deception of his enemies)

There's a case to be made for Major Armstrong and Colossus though.

Y'know, that whole thing about Schism, it sounded so forced.

Still need to read Schism. I just mean that the issue seemed like it provided closure, and the way it was written kind of reminds me of the end of the Inheritance cycle. Stuff is still going to happen, but it's been ended well.

Roy is practically a Scott expy already though. With 2nd place falling to Assassination Classrooms Mr. Kurasuma. Although the latter gets bonus points for pairing up with the best Emma Frost expy anime has to offer.

And I'm very much a completionist. I'm reading the entirety of 616 in chronological order. I'm not skipping Luke Cage.
