Y'know....with characters having an appreciation thread in their own forum, you'd think these authors would run by their writing through at least one user. We don't even need to be paid actual currency-- just a shout-out would be enough.

I don't think CBR purposefully tries to bash Cyclops all the time. Their content comes from contributors who submit an idea for a piece, and then CBR approves it or not. It doesn't even look like they have permanent contributors on staff. The company that owns CBR is an online advertisting company...so it's all about getting clicks and applying strategies based on what Buzzfeed does. A piece like 'top 10 awful things Cyclops did' is going to be published over 'top 10 times Cyclops was a cool character'.

Don't get me wrong, I love Cyclops and would love to read in-depth pieces about the character but that's not what CBR's content creation strategy is about.

I've never watched YouTube videos that 'explain' the comics. I don't really get the point of that type of content when you could just read the stuff and make up your own mind
