It's so weird that some of Cyclops' fans seem to have a hateboner for Jean. I understand not being a fan of the relationship but where does the rest of it come from?

I don't like cynicism and hypocrisy.
And Jean Grey is a character who's connected to all this.
And...
In addition, some Jean's fans hate Emma. Some Jean fans hate Scott. Some Jean fans would only love Scott if he dragged himself to Jean again, y'know, like a puppy.
Some Jean fans love Logan and hate Emma, even though Logan/Jean is something that happened long before Scott/Emma.

But you know what, it would be interesting to see a x-team with Jean under Emma's orders. Yeah, y'know, like Steve and Scott. It's time to leave everything behind.

Emma is the only character who has really cared about Scott Summers for the past 15 years.
The only ones who should bring Scott back are Emma and the Cuckoos, Havok, Cable, Nate, Ruby and Corsair. The real Summers family.

And Scott Summers is a very flawed character to be near a Saint.
He must stay with his fellows: Emma, Magneto, Havok and so on...
