I was looking at pictures of Cyclops and stumbled on a variant cover Frank Cho drew for the first issue of one of the Uncanny X-men relaunches (the one right after Schism I think). Was this variation of Cyke's Astonishing costume ever used? If you notice, this version is a bit different (wrist area and ankle area, the golden bands aren't there in favor if more gold trim and silver on the boots) from the one with the golden arm guard looking things and the original portrayal of it in Whedon's Astonishing. It looks fantastic. Just needs the golden belt from Whedon's Astonishing run (and maybe the cowl removed to show off Cyke's hair)
