Good post, and I agree. I’m not sure which writer is responsible for this travesty but it’s awful.

I love KT, but man, Laura asking if she can stab a megalodon, while hilarious, is very out-of-character for her.

Jean Grey acting all condescending to Armor felt out of character as well. It's not a good thing when the two characters who are quite possibly the most popular in this series so far are both written out of character in the same issue.

I don't really have a big problem with the way Laura's been portrayed in previous issues. Sure, she talks a bit too much like a typical teenager, and there was that needless "Grrr", but until this line she didn't feel like a hothead. Here, she's not only a hothead, but she's acting somewhere between Logan and Gabby, when her personality is nothing like either of them.

But like Dthirds3 said, that "Megalodon" line was written by Brisson.

I don't know how some of these points justify one over the other. Also, I highly doubt plot points like the Enigma Force will ever be referenced again. ESPECIALLY because there were plenty of opportunities *cough*Black Vortex*cough* that never took advantage of it.

To Clarify, when I said it's credulous; I didn't mean the thesis statement had merit, I meant it's not full of objective falsehoods and a fundamental misunderstanding of the character.

Pretty decent, although I'd like to point out that Laura speaks many languages fluently as well.
