Over the past couple of days I've registered and made an appointment to give blood for the first time. I figured that I can't save lives with super powers, so I'll do it with my blood instead lol.

I won neither the $1.6 billion dollar MegaMillions lottery Tuesday night or the $620 million Powerball lottery last night. Therefore, I remain (un)happily middle class, or rather, upper poor.

For the MegaMillions drawing I matched . . . zero numbers.

(Shouldn't I deserve a consolation prize for that?)

It was tough! It went well, however. It turned out that someone who knew me was in the crowd and so that was a nice boost. People were really supportive so I'm happy. I might try to do it again. I showed it to a lot of people and they say it is really good. I'm not so convinced.

Well if people were supportive and said it's good, go for it again

You stopping over there for Christmas or coming back to Blighty?

I was planning on doing so and even looked at flights on Thursday but they are too expensive now. I finish exams on the 17th but the flights before Christmas are understandably pricey.

Just woke up, looked at the time on my phone and was like "only slept 5 hours but I feel rested?'. Then I realized DST ended here in Holland last night, so the time on my phone automatically went back an hour.

Disgusted to hear of the attack on the synagogue in Pittsburgh. Eleven people killed on account of a maniac's violent ignorance. Another horrifying example that shows antisemitical sentiments persist in our societies, and a reminder that we must combat it wherever we encounter it.

Here in the UI.S., the end of DST won't happen until 2:00 a.m. next Sunday (November 4th) . . . two days before Election Day.

^And it starts again on March 10th for you guys next year, whilst we won't have to turn the clocks forward until March 31st... It used to throw me off a little when American posters announced that the clocks had gone forward by an hour, and I'd be like "Oh crud, I forgot about it?!?"
