Sorry to hear Montreal wasn't good. At least you can say you've been there now.

For those of us still using Fahrenheit for temperatures, 17°C = 62.6°F, which can feel a bit chilly if there's no sunshine and any breeze, and also depending on how close someone may be to an area of water like a lake, river, etc. (But then again, what would be the "normal" temperature in early October?)

Thanksgiving in the U.S. isn't until later in November.
Hope you had a good one up your way.

To those who live in the path of the Hurricane, stay safe. Hopefully most have evacuated.

I've been out for a curry (again) and watched Justice League for the first time tonight. So happy it's Friday. Best part of the week knowing I've got the weekend ahead of me. Hope you had a good day off!

Well I was really frustrated that the Cornhuskers choked and lost to the NW Wildcats 34-31 because predicted the Cornhuskers would win 31-24 and really appeared I would get the exact score and winner right except denied because NW Wildcats came back because a defense that didn't defend when needed and because they're a better team. A Soul crushing frustrating defeat that makes it even worse for the Big Red.
Except my other College Football team the Vols had a great low amount comeback win vs the favored Auburn Tigers that had a 86 percent chance to win according to ESPN FPI, they owned the 2nd half outscoring the Tigers 17-7 winning a entertaining great dramatic close exciting game 30-24 in Auburn.
The 3rd game is the breakthrough for the Vols after 2 growing pains sec games, and this could be the turnaround for the Vols.

Great to see I was mostly on the mark for my the Vols win a dramatic exciting close challenging game 31-27 because it was that, Vols did win and 31-27 not far off of 30-24.
A impressive great valiant team win in Auburn to remove the ranked Tigers no doubt out of top 25.

Thankfully, I haven't had a PA speeding ticket in this century.

(Then again, I haven't been to Pennsylvania since the last century.)

Do the state troopers still wear those big-ol' Smokey Bear hats?
