Ok. It could've been they were afraid someone would reawaken the Winter Soldier persona

Yet overlook Bucky betrayed them by not giving up zemo.

    Interwebz is obsessed with bucky.

Wakanda owed bucky nothing and risked everything to save him... his response was breaking their kings killer (the doras greatest shame) out and then not giving him up even after giving him time to make zemo useful.

I mean come on... turning his arm off for 20seconds doesnt compare in the betrayal game

If Zemo goes after Isaiah, like some suspect, I think Bucky will really feel bad.

OK..now the Daunte Wright shooting has created chaos in Minnesota.

How and why does a cop mistake their taser for a handgun? What kind of f..cked up nonsense is that?

Daunte was only 20 and his life has been cut short. Now, they are going through his record because to conservatives, minor misdemeanours and small offences warrants a death sentence especially for black people.

Seriously, US police really, really, really need to learn de-escalation techniques. Or at the least, non-escalation because in most of these cases it seems they want to escalate the situation and use lethal force (because they feel threatened). Seriously, if police are threatened by unarmed black men (some of them kids), then they should look for jobs at Burger King or something because policing work clearly isn't for them.

There was a video that went viral a couple of years back where a policeman had his gun drawn on a young black man. Said policeman was so fired up and seemed to be losing his mind and looked poised to shoot the man. It was older black women in the neighborhood that came out to calm down the police officer. They de-escalated the situation. This shouldn't be the case, it should be the police doing this not random women.

What is stupid is bad police are bad for everyone. No one likes the damn police....

But a certain party made it part of its brand so 40% are gonna support no matter what.

I have no idea why police turn every traffic stop into something potentially violent. They act loke their job is sooo dangerous when they create so many potential dangerous situations.

It's always a shooting within a circle of cops too. In this case with the poor young guy who only 'meant' to get tased, there was a brotha standing right there cuffing dude. Now it's hot for him and it didn't have to be. When he panics here she come. It's going to take another officer getting shot on some friendly fire **** to get any actual change and it will only be by proxy if it cuts down on some of these incidents.

Minnesota is on a hell of a streak.

MINNEAPOLIS — According to KARE 11 records, in the last 10 years, at least 10 people have died at the hands of Minneapolis police.

The death of George Floyd, which is still under investigation, would bring that total up to 11.

De-escalation techniques probably worst best when said officer has little escalation techniques towords people of color in his own life first. Unfortunately these types of individuals, loud brash grudge filled assholes, have little skills to do much else.

Caron Nazario, a Black and Latino man. During the exchange, officers drew their guns, pointed them at Nazario and used a slang term to suggest he was facing execution before pepper-spraying him and knocking him to the ground.
Mans was even in uniform and didn't keep him from getting that work.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?
    You bet yer ass.

Yet, if you bring up the officer's own history of violent behavior (like say, Derek Chauvin), it apparently isn't relevant to the situation.

Speaking of, someone referred me to this article about a history racial violence towards black vets.

You'd think with how much more attention the police are getting, they'd be more careful now.

    This one was so disgusting.

You can imagine if Nazario didn't act calm, that brother would have gunned down like nothing.

And despite this clear evidence, people still defend the police like they can do no wrong.

    It's like they can't learn.

Whatever it is they're being taught or trained with needs to change.

It's not just the racism, it's the use of excessive force...lethal force that needs to be analyzed.

    EXACTLY!

That's the part that's so painful.

Look at Travyon Martin, he wasn't killed by a cop but by a racist psycho. Despite Martin being a kid, there was so much emphasis on his "possible criminal past".

    This is what gets me.

They escalate situations (like the Nazario one) and they turn around and say their lives are in danger.

Or maybe they think that they'll be the ones that "Get away with it."
