They don't. I think Disney was shocked and could not change stuff in the last two Avenger films.

I don't need a movie to be filming to do OTHER things with Panther. If I was going to expand Black Panther-I would have other novels NOT about him or Shuri only.

I would probably make a better effort to get his clothes in a store VERSUS making folks order on-line for them.

Excluding Black Panther blanket (own 1), gift wrap (own 2), coloring book (own it), birthday card (own 1), valentines (own 2), mug (own it) and other stuff.

What are those little things you do to keep interest? Where is the open end video game?
Yikes, yeah ... I hadn't thought of it fully in context, but I'd finally ended up playing Fortnite because the last "season" was Marvel-themed, with the ability to get skins to play as a bunch of Marvel characters ... some were obvious like Wolverine, Iron Man, Thor and Mystique (recalling that she ends up basically the protagonist of the X-Men movies, after Wolverine) but then including ... well, Groot and Rocket, okay, for the kids ... but, Doctor Doom is stretching it, given how poorly the FF movies have done. Then, another included was She-Hulk!

Much as I am a fan of She-Hulk, that just seemed weird. And yeah, thinking on it now, Black Panther should have been a no-brainer, if Marvel were trying to promote the character at all. Not only was he not there, but you can also get skins for characters from Daredevil to Cap, Deadpool, freaking Cable and Domino ... no Black Panther.

Searching just now, I guess they have "leaked" that a Black Panther skin for the game is upcoming. But, given the success and popularity of the character, he should have been more central to their whole thing. Storm was another that was included. And I love Storm ... but yeah, kinda seeming almost deliberate, given what a no-brainer his inclusion would have been.

TM: One part that we haven’t talked about is Angel, and during that series …

JAR: At least you didn’t say Heroes. I meet a lot of people that say “you were in Heroes.” “No, I was not.” But the actor that was in Heroes, we look a lot alike. Leonard Roberts doesn’t think we look alike, he used to say that until his girlfriend invited me to his surprise birthday party, and I showed up late, and when I walked in everyone yelled “Surprise!” And so when he showed up finally I was like “Now do you think that we look alike?”

Started Ma Rainey today on Netflix. This Boseman performance is turned up closer to a 10 when he's usually runs about a 5. Hmmp, just tragic.

Michelle Latimer, the director of the Canadian series Trickster, which stars an Indigenous teenager, is retiring after the show's first season.

However, news of her retirement has also been followed by questions as to whether or not she faked her indigenous identity.

If it's true, this happens way too many times. Trickster is a good show, I hope it doesn't get cancelled.

Can someone help me understand why Eddie Murphy left Hollywood for many years before returning?

My favorite scene will forever be Frankie Faison's apartment showing, "Your rent's due muthafucka, and don't be pullin that falling down the stairs ****." And of course damn shame what they did to that dog.

We've seen the sequel that comes many, many years after the original and it's about 95% pass rate. As in, yea I pass. I don't think you can duplicate the charm that the last one had. That said, I'm hear for Randy Watson and damn, Sheri Headley is still fine.

He had lots of money and didn't need to work unless he was in the mood? Plus for every two roles he does that everyone loves, he'll do a third that flops. So, he's not seen as guaranteed box office gold anymore.

Yeah, I think it's mostly that. He'd gone through the young, up-and-coming, something to prove and money to earn stages, pretty early in his career and in his life. By the time he was doing stuff like Coming to America and Harlem Nights, he was already making the projects he wanted himself to make, as an artist. By the time you get to the Shrek and Mulan phase, it's really just bags of money he doesn't even need, for doing comedy he could pretty well do in his sleep, by then.

Why wouldn't you just take time to enjoy life? Really, good for him that he didn't feel a need to be constantly in the spotlight, and constantly begging for the public's attention and approval. His life and career both are I'm sure better off.

Remove the Nutty Professor, Dr Doolittle, Mulan and Shrek from his resume.

From Boomerang in 1992 to Mr Chuch in 2016-he did 18 movies not counting the above ones. Take out Dream Girls since he was not a lead in that. 17.

3 of those movies were hits. If you tossed in Nutty and those films-10.

The other 13 with the exception of Pluto Nash made the same or near the amount of the film's budget.

13 flops out of 28 films.

    Left Hollywood?

    1985, 1991,1993, 2005, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018

So those are the years without a Eddie Murphy movie/voice acting project. I mean I know that looks like a lot but from 1982 to 2004 Eddie Murphy put out at least one project every year. Then from 2006 to 2012 he put one project a year. He seemed visible because the one project a year he would do would be Shrek and 1 movie a year he did wasn't smash hits.
