I think he's still around. Sounds like this Batman will be older than Duke.

I'd rather see DC put creative energy into Bronze Tiger, rather than make a black Batman.

Duke is around in Outsiders. For all intent purposes he's too young and the line starts behind Tim Drake fans raising HELL if he did put on that suit.

You never know unless you TRY.

I don't want to hear Dc or Marvel is not a charity when I have seen some of oddest folks (white guys) get books and NO ONE complained.

What solo book has Bronze Tiger had? That is what I thought.

Cassandra Cain & Steel SOLD yet can't SNIFF a solo or mini.

    We won't talk about Vixen.

When does the PANDERING to folks who think any book NOT starring a white guy is putting color over character stop?

Because what you DON'T do someone else will.

It could also be "new money." It could be a black man who has recently become a billionaire, not because of his parents or family but because of his hard work and smart business practices. Or he could be like another Mr. Terrific. Meanwhile, David Zavimbe is somewhere in limbo, waving his hands and saying "Remember me? I'm over here!"

I forgot what was the reason for getting rid of the original Batwing? He was far more interesting.
    Pull List:

Marvel Comics: Venom, X-Men, Black Panther, Captain America, Eternals, Warhammer 40000.
    DC Comics: The Last God

Batman faced cancellation before Denny O'Neil & Neal Adams came along. Hal Jordan was quite dead in the DCU before Geoff brought him back. Oliver Queen was dead before Kevin Smith brought him back.

All it takes is a proven & dedicated creative team (with a two year commitment), along with steady promotion to build the character up.

Thank goodness Joe Quesada & Jimmy Palmiotti put Black Panther in their Marvel Knights line.

Despite bad sales, editors had faith in BP. Now, BP is a household name.

DC seems hell-driven to divide the fan bases of their franchises with stunts like this.

I forgot why David Zavimbe hung up the costume, but I'll never forget the crap when Batman said Luke Fox had always been his number one choice to be Batwing instead of David.

Batman's been more of a consistent seller than those guys though. The days of Batman being in danger of cancellation are far behind.

I would love to see more done with Bronze Tiger (and a whole bunch of others) but sadly there isn't enough history of him being a major draw even though there should be.

Hell, even when Hal and Oliver came back DC was unable to maintain the momentum from their returns and they went back to mid to low sellers.

Bird of Prey just ain't my jam

It's wild how Harley went from psychopathic side kick on an animated show to... female icon?

Does she still sell comics too?

I think Birds of Prey might be good, I'd actually like it if it's true the villain is gay in it.

I can see how Harley has become a popular female anti-hero. Also since she debuted in the animated series not the comics her getting her own animated series is kinda' like coming full-circle for the character.

It's probably gonna either be Luke Fox or Mike Lane.

How? Because I don't get it lol.

Somehow a character in Suicide Squad, who was basically a male gaze character, ended up being a popular female anti hero?

Is it just the "bad girl" aspect or what?
