- The Chicago Police Department has already(more than a week back) called for a Federal investigation of Kim Foxx and why she had to recuse herself.
- The Prosecutor who dropped the charges says he has no doubt about the State's evidence or case.
- He explained it as an alternative to going forward with a trial in a city that could use the resources elsewhere.
- The idea being that community service thus far and sacrificing the ten grand he put up for bail will be an alternative to an actual sentence.

Hip-hop media is all kind of warped.

We are hearing about Cardi B ranting about drugging men and robbing them while she was still a stripper. But Hip-hop media goes out of their way to defend her, like seriously? All that about Cardi B getting nothing handed to her is bull, most of us had nothing handed to us and we had to work hard to be anything close to stable. The hip-hop community has a pattern of enabling criminal behavior and looking for all sort of ridiculous reasons to justify said behavior.

That is because CM is going to make a billion in tickets + merch and everyting else involved and Us is going to make 200 million period.

Peele is "big" for a director. But he isn't Marvel Studios big. So when he says stuff like that, he is hitting 1/6 of the people Brie gets. The hissy fit will never be as big. Plus, id imagine the population of Peele movie lovers contains less man babies

It feels like a good bit of the "Captain Marvel" drama was folks who thought they could successfully run the "Ghostbusters" play again.

Which won't work when you don't have the director and actor at the other end of the ping pong table the way they were when it came to Ghostbusters.

There'll be some push back, but I don't think it'll be anywhere close to the same degree as the Capt Marvel derangement syndrome.

It's Peele making his own movies so no one can claim SJWs are ruining a beloved franchise.

Same for the genre of horror movies...while geeks and nerds may like horror movies, it's not really seen as "nerd" thing. Most horror fans aren't looking at it as PC agenda being forced on someone's safe space.

The "Horror" tribe of fandom and the "Sci-Fi/Fantasy" tribe are two different tribes with different concerns.

Not saying they are more woke fandom in general. Horror Fans care way more about CONTENT. Quality would be nice but as they see themselves as under served compared
to Sci-Fi/Fantasy Fans so they aren't too picky, IMO.

If Peele has anything to do with the Trek franchise when he said that and it would have been a nerd freakout.

But this is a guy who put out 2 horror flicks in 3 years and not a sequel either. He's single handedly saving the genre from being nothing but crap like Paranormal Activity
