TFA was ok but pissed me off.

I thought TLJ was just a badly made movie among other things.

I skipped Solo, figure it's worth 5 dollars to see this trilogy end I suppose.

Nostalgia's a powerful thing. I liked TLJ, it just needed better writing. Finn looks like he might have something to do this time. Which'll be nice.

Hell, I can see them doing both of those things given that Rian Johnson's not doing this one.

It would be ironic as **** if Star Trek of all franchises turned out to have more balls in the face of fan whining than Star Wars.

It was. There were a ton of theories after TFA. That or she was another force creation

then TLJ lit those all on fire (including JJ initial plans) if we are to believe Kylo is a reliable narrator.

I really don't think that Johnson did much at all you most likely will be able to watch 7 and then 9 with out seeing 8 and the only question being what happened to Snoke? TLJ should be call "Plot Device the Movie".
