Yeah I feel you. The MCU has yet to let me down though I'd probably save a few bucks if I didn't buy a beer at every showing. The success of the MCU really makes wish the DCEU would finally grow past its growing pains.

I don't eat or drink at movies. There is even a 5 dollar tuesday here, which is doubly nice because I take a half day on Tuesday lol

DCEU helped me break the... habit? of seeing bad movies in theaters lol. I used to see a lot of mediocre films in theaters just because I do like going to movies (especially during dead times). But BvS like broke my soul and then I saw TMNT2 a couple months later and I haven't seen a bad movie in theaters since. Well, actually I saw Justice League in theaters matinee so that kinda counts but at least that was "bad fun" instead of "boring bad." I actually liked TMNT1 and f'ing hated the second one. Every single thing about it.

Now if i am hesitant about a movie, I don't go. I'll just catch it on Redbox in a few months. Shazam for example should have been a guaranteed buy but ddn't like the trailers so whatever, i'll wait.

Shazam was a lot of fun, it's Big with superpowers, in fact, if they didn't make him a teenager again, Zach Levi would have been the perfect live-action adult Peter Parker.

People should really look up the history of the Capt Marvel name before starting petitions like this.

Interesting the majority of the folks who signed it were not from the USA. Didn't know South America cared about Monica that much.

A prequel to Blackish is in the works.

That is a DONE deal and the backdoor pilot will air next season on Blackish.

It was suppose to air on May 7th but ABC pushed it back to next and it's a go.

black-ish has been renewed for Season 6 and ABC has also officially ordered a prequel series, mixed-ish.

The fact that mixed-ish has received an early series order ahead of upfronts shows the network's heavy confidence in the second black-ish series following Freeform's grown-ish. Initially set to air this season, the mixed-ish backdoor pilot will air as an episode of black-ish next season.

$300 worth of comics for $16

Store had a 25 cent boxes sale. If you wanted a DC Rebirth title-you would have been in heaven. Especially if you wanted all of Doomsday Clock & Action Comics 1000 or DC books from the last 7 months.

Interesting the only book NOT in those bins was Nightwing. Young Justice had a variant of issue 3 and Batman & Signal only had issue 2 & 3.

End up with plenty of variants from Green Arrow, Titans, Teen Titans & Flash.

Got to meet Tee Franklin (Bingo Love & Joot Joint)

Won an Avengers bag with Hellboy shirts, Men in Black International promo glasses, Pet Cemetery posters, The Boys promo hat (interesting to see kids with wearing a hat that said F**K supers) and some other stuff. Just not the prop from Cap America that was up for grabs.

Well Doom Patrol just did the impossible! That show has actually made me genuinely care about Cybprg. Wow! Easily the best the character has ever been and Jovian Wade is killing it!

If you're not watching Doom Patrol, then you are missing out on the best comic book tv show ever produced! It really is that good!

It's always the first saturday in may.

The free issues are usually placed on comixology after a while.

Unfortunately the printer didn't send the updated versions of my books in time for Free Comic Book Day, but it was still a pretty good day for me in terms of sales. Most people that bought my books picked up both, which was cool. Posters and t-shirts tend to be slow movers for me, but I did get a couple posters sold and a tee as well.

Has anyone seen the new FFH trailer yet? Im not sure this is true but spoilers:

Mysterio is supposedly from another earth, the snap ripped open a hole in the multiverse, which is the easiest way to bring in the X-men and FF without having to grandfather them in via retcon

The problem is that this is Mysterio, so it may or may not be true, Bendis did something like this in the first Spider-Men crossover, didn't make sense then but we all know how he is with continuity.
