From what I've seen, there's stuff in Last of Us 2 that pisses off both progressives and the anti-SJW crowd. It's basically a game that ended up upsetting just about anyone from both sides.

Funny enough, I saw a story breakdown with spoilers and some of the stuff from leaks arent in the game.

I'll play it for myself when I have the money. I got bills to pay, games have to wait.

That situation got gross really quick.

I don't understand how the gamer community got like it has. Like I don't get it all.

The few female lead games started showing women fully dressed.

Games NOT sports related staring showing POC (mainly black since we get all the hate most of the time) started popping up.

Look at grand Theft Auto the 2 highest selling ones have BLACK males as the lead or co-lead.

Watch Dogs 2 is over 10 million and show how still selling.

More POC gamers started being vocal in how they were treated and what they heard in some online games.

Also you got folks who feel empowered by who is in the White House along with groups like the gators who have been allowed to run wild with screaming about stuff attacking white men.


That is what all this mess is about. It's about a certain demo thinking everything is an attack on them. It's why you see folks WANTING DC & Marvel to shut down. Because they think they are not being pandered to.

I want to point out that 5E is over 5 years old and still hadn't gotten around to re-releasing Oriental Adventures or Ad Quadim. Game Worlds that actually feature real world POCs

Given how they seem to be dragging their feet on any re-release these product, they kind of went out of their way to put themselves in this position.

And at some point in the last 10 years a vocal contingent of gamers decided that SJWs were everything wrong with gaming.

Why I will never quite get.

So if a Japanese game gets altered for an American release? It's the SJWs fault!

Even though those kind of alterations because of cultural differences have been made since before the 80's.

Doesn't really matter -- the Last of Us 2 will sell, Zero Dawn will sell, Overwatch 2 will sell, and Miles Morales will sell.

Wouldn't even call them gamers so much as opportunists -- most people who play games don't bother complaining about "SJWs".

This young lady made a lot of valid points.

The.gaming community is a hot bed of racism and all the phobias. Communities like IGN that were once upon a time very progressive have been swamped by the alt-right.

That being said, the guys that were producing Magic cards sound really bigoted. I dont want to believe those guys were innocently ignorant when making and approving those cards. Seems like they had an agenda or something.

When was IGN ever progressive? Outlets like that helped create Gamergate by promoting the idea that number scores tell everything about a game and that any game that doesn't fit the narrow tastes of the manufactured gamer identity isn't worth playing (ex. God Hand). When Resident Evil 5 was first announced them and Destructoid were out there making excuses and peddling BS defending that game and claiming that anyone who had an issue with it was the REAL RACIST. As the old joke goes, you can't spell ignorant without IGN.

This is a LIE someone is saying about Milestone.

Add on the fact that none of those characters have an ongoing solo. Everyone is either on a team or no where to be seen, with the exception of Jo who is getting twelve issues.

*shrug*... I still haven't played the first one lol. It is on my every growing list. Games come out faster than I can play them, still haven't finished HDZ. I keep getting sucked back into Monster Hunter
