If anything, it's more that social media gives them a bullhorn than it is whatever they believe their leverage to be.

Pretty much a Hal fan went through his social media and seek out every single negative thing Redjack said about Hal to rile up Hal fans (some who feel Hal had been constantly disrespected and can't understand why anyone would think he's boring) and tried to get the gators among other groups to help.

Hal Jordan has had a book or been a lead since 2006-if folks find him boring-whose fault is that? I heard so many complain about Robert V on that book-it NEVER got to this level.

I mean ... Hal as GL was my first favorite superhero as a kid, before Peter as Spider-Man, so can't agree with him on his thinking Hal is boring. But yeah, the hate is effed up.

Yeah, I'm a fan of both, as well. Honestly, I think the GLs are probably the best illustration of the idea that you can have multiple people who carry the mantle, without it diminishing any of them.

Honestly, Kyle was probably my least favorite, but due purely to the fact that they paved the way for him by ruining Hal, first. I mean, not just Hal, but got rid of the whole GL Corps, which I thought was a bit much! So, was very much a fan of Rebirth, and having a whole Corps of Lanterns again, including all of the Earth Lanterns ... all that weird stuff they did with Guy in the interim was best forgotten, and while I thought the space-bug explanation for Parallax was dumb on the surface, even that led to some cool stuff so ... yeah, sucks that people can't just let all the Lanterns shine together!
