The Cosby thing is a classic case of the rich being untouchable. Particularly in the US.

It seems that the persecution forgot they made a deal with Cosby years ago.

That’s a very dangerous precedent because of a lot of “big guys” accused of assault have made such deals in the past and it makes them immune to prosecution.

What I find surprising is when people say Hollywood is some “woke” institution when just a few years ago, the studio head was afraid that Denzel Washington couldn’t sell tickets outside the US and John Boyega’s image for Lucasfilm’s Star Wars was reduced in China.
