I'm being petty, but I don't like that, in the latest episode of Loki spoilers:end of spoilers
of the new Lokis that appeared at the end of the previous episode, the black Loki is the one who betrays them. Like, c'mon ... if that's all you were going to do with the third of those, keeping the kid and old Loki ... just have it be a very smarmy looking Loki, or have it have been President Loki, and the black/Thor Loki be the one he tried to sell them out to. Or better yet, don't have one at all, if the only point of the character will be to have them do something bad. But yeah, don't include a black Loki, only to have him be "smarmy betrayer Loki". Because I feel like making him black was shorthand for smarmy, in context of the narrative.
I mean, no, not saying every black character needs to be a paragon of virtue, but ... "guy who shows no redeeming characteristics before being a betrayer, with the group not even as long as the alligator"? Why make that character black? FFS.
