The money played a part sure , but so did Twitch's actions the last couple years. Business wise he was growing frustrated with them because they were limiting him on what he could do.

Also take into this ..Twitch itself linked Ninja's accounts last year after he left ..to porn. Yes folks the very thing Twitch above banned Impact from , they promoted it on Ninja's account and he had spent time trying to get them to disable that (as well as recommending links to other streamers which they had never done).

But as a whole Twitch banning Impact here continues the double standards they continue to have. People have called them out for a long time.
