Honestly if your gonna make PCO a singles champion in ROH then you should put the TV Title on him. If PCO is a popular star at 51 then you put an upper mid-card title on him and use him to feud and work against the guys your building up. And that special star you view as the next World Champion possibly...you have PCO drop that belt to him. But if your gonna follow an ECW concept well ...do the Rob Van Dam deal. Where Rob became a star as TV Champion and some times over shadowed the World Champion. But unlike where an injury made Rob lose that title , PCO can drop it fairly to the right guy.

It shocks me no one in ROH proposed this.

Age be damned, if PCO is one of the few people in ROH anyone cares about then in the short term he's the right guy.

It's not like ROH can be particularly picky at the moment.

PCO is one of the few stars the company has that sticking around. Rush is leaving, Marty jumped ship to NWA, Taven isn't over. Really, they have no one to give the world title too unless you want Jay Lethal to have another run or Jay Briscoe to go solo again.

JR seemed really confused when they rang the bell for that Texas Street-Fight before they even got in the ring. Usually the competitors have to be in the ring for the bell to ring, even for a falls-count-anywhere street-fight.

BTW, why is no one talking about the blatant racism of a Black man in chains, hanging from the ring-post during the finale of Friday night's Smackdown?

Someone actually needs to watch Smackdown to care about it.

Humberto will be facing Andrade on the TLC pre-show, and the first match of the show proper will be the Women's tag match.

    EDIT:

Scratch that, first match is New Day Revival

It is when your running a character who is doing the whole "crazy middle age" type gimmick as we see PCO running as a comparison.

They need long range planning actually. They need to sit down and decide who is gonna be there long term and decide who they need to build to be World Champion in 2020 and 2021. Throwing the belt on someone short term to try and create a buzz with no plans for the future is a big problem. ROH is in a bad spot right now.

It reminds me comically of a shoot years ago Cornette did where he detailed George Scott was back in WCW for so many books as head booker. Scott asked the committee (Cornette , Ross etc) when they would start expect to be making money with booking plans. Cornette told him they wouldn't make a dime this month , the next month and the next month or 2. But if they sit down right now and put things in motion and build guys right to programs they could make some money by the end of the year.

Scott did not like that answer and within a couple months he was fired. Ric Flair took over booking and laid out the long term plan to make Sting the next World Champion.

But that is my point here. ROH maybe losing a couple stars. They need to use the ones they have and if it means Lethal as Champion awhile then so be it or Briscoe . But the long term build guys , you start them off and you use PCO for that. He should be the Dreamer type role in a way. He's the guy the big heel or face challenges as they move up.

BTW, The OC answered the open challenge, but there was a double countout, and Roman/Corbin are one now

So Corbin won. On the one hand, that means the feud is likely to continue. On the other hand, it means that Roman is less likely to win the rumble if he has a match with Corbin on the card.

Anyway, Bray vs. Miz is next

Rusev vs. Lashley is up now. Women's tag will be the main event.

Lashley put Rusev through the table. So i guess that's continuing.

Women's tag is presumably up next to close us out
