The cruisers have a lot of down time doing nothing as things are right now. They only work 205 Live shows and a few main-event tapings. Only the champion and whoever is challenging for the belt get to work house shows. Nothing really going to change for them if cruiser belt stays in UK.

Yeah, but with them doubling the amount of NXT each week it's be a lot easier to fit them into their programing. Again, they can theoretically do both. Being in NXT doesn't mean you're exclusively in NXT. They can do stuff in NXT UK too.

UK would benefit more from having that belt. Getting two hours every week is no guarantee they'll fit anything. Raw has been three hours for how many years now and how many guys did that benefit?

I think NXT UK potentially could be hurt by having another title. They already have 3 titles that they need to showcase on a one hour show. Course, regular NXT has 4 titles which they have had to showcase on a 1 hour show so it's certainly possible... but them getting an additional hour makes the additional title and talent easy to manage.

Certainly getting 2 hours by no means gurantees anything... but odds are still much better with twice the air time.

The one hour is a boon. They don't showcase the same guys week to week and hopes breathing room for the guys and ankles that need it. UK films like a month of TV in one taping.

There are advantages and disadvantages. Certainly it keeps talent fresher when they don't show up every week. But I do think for the purposes of weekly storytelling, there are advantages of seeing a story play out on a weekly basis.

I personally think 2 hours is the Goldilocks zone. I often feel 1 hour is too short and 3 hours is too long. But that's just me.

2 hours is the sweet spot for a wrestling show but not in the way that WWE makes use of it. If they planned the two hour program like their 1 hour shows where we don't see the same group of guys week to week that would be ideal.
