That's a problem with RAW. The only story that seems to matter is whatever the SHIELD and Ziggler's team are up to. If you don't care about those 5 guys, there's no real reason to watch RAW. they need more top feuds that don't involve them

That's why the NXT Aleister Black storyline was so good. It was the main storyline for the upper card, but it had a trickled down effect to the point where people across different divisions and up and down the card all were effected by it.

If they do it right, the power vacuum by Reigns being gone and the Shield breakup (and the Strowman breakup) should have ramifications all over the card. Ideally you would have different groups vying for power to be the dominant team(s) on RAW.

Authors of Pain/Revival/etc. should all be doing whatever it takes to be the ones to challenge the broken up Shield for the tag titles, etc.

They have a chance to really shake things up all up and down the card now.

I think Rhonda and Nikki are getting a fair amount of screen time, and they're trying to hype up DX vs the Brothers as a big deal.

But the upside being it elevated Drew and Ziggler, 2 mid card guys, in another level. Drew potential could be made into a star over this, so theres a trade off here.

There are rumors that Alexa Bliss might not be cleared to compete at Evolution. She wasn't at the last Smackdown episode and it seems Alica Fox was brought in during that segment to kinda open the door for her to take her place should Bliss not be able to compete.

Yeah spoilers can be tough to avoid if you spend a lot of time on social media discussing wrestling. I saw an article w/ the Bliss news the other day but didn't click on it. Cool blog BTW!

Becky was over ... buy again I think she's more over now than she was before she heel turned.

As for Charlotte ... she's losing some face heat when feuding with Becky, but I'm not convinced that's detrimental to her. I think it's a good high profile feud for both which has got the fans interest. Maybe the biggest woman's division feud on the Smackdown brand at least since the division began.

but that's not what they wanted and doesn't advance their goals so it's not working.

Isn't NOAH going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment? If so, they'd be a good candidate. Maybe get a couple of the lower-end women's feds to have a viable women's division, too.

AJPW might be a good choice, i know they're having try outs in san jose next year. they also have a lot of footage of WWE hall of famers in their library.

If i remember correctly NOAH had a short lived partnership with Impact in which Taiji Ishimori did a excursion and have a stint as X Division Champ before he announced his depature to Noah and jump ship with their rivals NJPW as the new Bone Soldier. and the WWE let Hideo Itami/KENTA coming back to Noah one off against Marufuji last time and he was allowed to use the GTS in which is now banned after he accidentaly broke Brian Kendrick's orbital bone.

i think impact continued to use ishimori even after he jumped to NJPW.

yeah it's a pretty terrible feeling, and then you feel bad for almost looking forward to what comes next. sadly WWE is now way more interesting that they're going to have change directions and hopefully the brightside of all this is it will create opportunities for others.

The heel turn tonight of nights just felt in bad taste. I guess with Reigns out, Vince just couldn't pull the plug on the SHIELD fast enough. And they just released more shirts too.

They've pretty much their short (and perhaps medium) term decision. Seth (and Dean) are getting the "A Storyline", whether or not Brock/Braun has the belt.

A Seth-Dean Wrestlemania would now sell itself if that's what they wanted.

that's what i was thinking. also it really was a dumbass move to turn braun heel. he was in perfect position to be the top face if they wanted him to be, now that they may NEED him to be he's not in such a position.
