I don't feel like you can pass the torch with a part time performer.

You can't pass the torch and still be running in the race.

Like you said you can have dream matches with legends but I would never book a mania with multiple legends vs current stars matches...it diminishing returns with each match.

I think the fact that the 4 horsewomen put on a pretty high profile MSG match outweighs any potential downsides of who wins or loses. Win, lose or draw I'm sure it was a pretty big deal for the 4 performers in the ring. And to me at least, it was the highlight of the show. If you go to the garden, IMO you need to put a bit more effort than your standard RAW or Smackdown.

Agreed. It should have been the final match though. It had the star power to justify it.

I am hoping that Buddy Murphy take Elias spot.

Murphy vs Gable would be off the charts.

Well, I admit that I was wrong about Elias winning King of the Ring. I guess it will be Corbin, as Gable doesn't seem to have the personality to march around wearing a crown and waving a scepter.

I don't even want to see Corbin with the king gimmick. It's hokey in a bad way.

If he walks around with a crowd, cape, and septre then yeah it's a little corny. But I don't think most KOTR winners now really embrace the gimmick to that degree. But we'll see.

He already calls himself a Baron, so calling himself a king isn't a huge leap.

And of course, there's a chance Gable wins.

The last two KotR winners Sheamus and Barrett used the shitty King gimmick. The fact there's a crown and scepter at the ramp leads me to believe that Corbin will do the same if he won.

He might have been the original winner if he hadn't been injured. He dropped the guitar gimmick with his "last performance", so it seemed that he was being set up for it.

Given that, give it to Corbin. Better on a heel and Corbin is annoying enough *and* King Corbin is a step up over his current gimmick.

So babyface KO has gone the way of babyface Miz. Namely turning them into Shane's b****es because freaking Shane needs to look good apparently, ugh.

I have no idea what WWE is doing with Andrade. People keep waiting for them to push him, but they never pull the trigger on it.

No Asuka and Kairi again, which sucks.

It's impressive how quickly they've shoved Ember back down the card after giving her one half-assed title shot.

Gable should win KOTR at this point. It'd be the coolest story.

This show was a mess, RAW won easily this week.

What the heck are you talking about? KO wasn't being used to prop up Shane at all

Really, being forced to beg for his job week after week and be bullied by Shane. Also beaten up by the middle-aged non-wrestler and then fired. How has he not been used to prop up Shane?

100% this. Owens was super hot when the program with Shane started but after SummerSlam he got turned into Shane's whipping boy. This current stuff with Shane killed his heat with the quickness.
