This seems to be the kind of departure where Dolph is interested in doing other things. It looks like he wants to commit to stand up comedy and has a tour planned after his contract is set to expire. He's been coasting for years so no loss for WWE if he leaves.

Generally speaking, WWE losing some talent is probably a good thing. It creates openings on the main roster for nxt call ups and freshen up the product.

If people weren't asking for release, a bunch would probably get released after Wrestlemania anyways.

This is only as issue if they lose a big name, like an AJ Styles.

WWE has done any "spring cleaning" in a few years. They rather horde their talent now than cut the fat.

This has happened numerous times with Ziggler in the past 5 years. Until WWE.com publishes a "wish him luck in all his future endeavors" article, expect him to stay with the company for the foreseeable future.

Dolph has pretty much done everything he can do in WWE. He isn't going to be used more than this.

AEW or not, It's time for him to move on.

    Exactly.

Between Smackdown/Raw and NXT, WWE frankly has too much talent and people leaving just frees up the roster for further call ups.

The challenge for WWE is how to balance the roster and allow for talented folks to shine.

I'd rather she play Sonya in a movie/tv show.

i heard the original ingobernable, el toro blanco, roosh signed a 1 year contract with RoH. kind of fukt up since MLW has made him a focal point of their programing the last month or so.

if the bidding wars shit is still going on a year from he's going to be 1 hot free agent.

Yeah no. She don't have the talent to be an actress.

Maria has apparently denied asking for a release
