i don't like that group as a stable, too random. i'm hoping it was just a 1 night thing. keep swagger with jericho as his muscle, sammy kind of fits with EYFBO.

Hell, I enjoyed flipping between the 2 shows. Brought me back to the Monday Night Wars.

I had AEW on the TV, and NXT on the laptop. Both shows opened a can of worms in terms of narrative.

If they keep this up WWE is in trouble.

It's the A show to super fans but to the rest it's the B or C show.

Caught the first half of NXT and the last half of AEW.
    NXT:
-Cole vs Riddle was good if a little short and also got a little too indie (strong style??) with hitting each other with consecutive moves without selling for and having Riddle hit the GTS, V trigger and Floating Bro and Cole still kicked out at 2.
-Io vs Mia solid math, really liked it.
    -Gargano vs Thorne was good
    AEW:
-Page vs PAC was a cool match to see with couple of high spots but why does PAC keep winning if he is not(?) a full time employee and now Page couldn't hack it in the world title match and looses here too, so were does that leave him?
    - Riho vs Rose was a solid match.
    - The Main Event match wasn't much of a match more of a spot to progress the storyline with all the returns, debuts and interference (bit over booked).

NXT looks to have a really interesting main event scene with the returns of Balor and Ciampa. AEW seems to have set up a stable which I hope ends up being Jericho, Hager and Guevara, don feel like LAX need to be part of it. Felt that neither show was AMAZING, but they were both good. I am a bit more intrigued by NXT right now but still interested to see were AEW goes.

    NXT:

Ciampa and Finn returning were nice surprises.

Cole vs. Riddle and Io vs. Mia were both really good. Io is so awesome, she needs to be champion SOON!

Shayna vs. Candice was, a Shayna title match. Not bad, but if you've seen one then you've seen them all. At the very least, they need to vary up how she wins more.

The tag match was cool as well.

    AEW:

    Moxiey is awesome.

They're treating Pac as a star, as they should.

All hail Riho, seeing her tonight made me even more sad for Asuka and Kairi on the MR.

The six man tag was fun.

    The Good.
    Sammy vs Cody
    MJF promo

    The Great
    Hager return
    Mix
    Pac
The Tag Division. Might be the best I have seen in 20 years.

    The Ugly.
The commentary. I like Excalibur, but boy did he sound like a third wheel last night. I would have been totally happy with just Tony and JR.
Anything that had to do with comedy. For me, not a single joke or skit landed.

I only got to see the Riddle vs Cole match. That was great. Could have gone either way.

Balor is home. I am thinking that Nakamura,Asuka, and or Sami should follow.

The Women's title match. I just couldn't get into it all.

Agreed. Hager should just be a power guy. No need to be a bootleg Angle.Welcome to the Power Bomb Plantation

I'm curious about Page because he lost again....clean. And since Pac isn't a part of AEW, why does he keep beating their guys clean?

I liked the Riho/Rose match. But damn, Riho is tiny.

    I enjoyed the Sammy/Cody match.

I'm so happy Mox is back. I agree with LBO though, the potential stable with Hager and co is a bit random. And yes, Hager should carve out his own niche and not be set up like another Angle.

PAC is signed to AEW. The problem was he Open the Dream Gate champion at the time and Dragon Gate didn't want their top guy jobbing.
