2002-2006 was my favourite period, especially Smackdown.

I've always preferred the Ruthless Aggression era to the Attitude Era, but then again I've always preferred the in-ring stuff. As great as the Attitude Era was, for everything it's remembered for, great in-ring action isn't one of them.

This is true. This is the era that deserves to be copied. Not the attitude era.

People look at the Attitude Era with rose tinted lenses. Yes, it featured the rise of the Rock, Stone Cold and co but there was a lot of garbage on tv then. A lot of stuff that will make you cringe today. There was a lot of “Jerry Springer like” nonsense on WWE/F tv at the time which isn’t surprising considering it was heavily influenced by Vince Russo.

Truth is, the Ruthless aggression era had far, far better content and pure wrestling matches than the Attitude Era.

Yes, more angles of guys stalking another guy's wife and wanting to sexually assault her, female fat shaming, the weekly humiliation of a one legged man, JBL defending our borders, child custody determined in ladder matches, Michael Cole getting me too'd by Heidenreich. I miss it too.

Yeah, they're doing a descent job trying to keep Shayna monster aura despite losing to Becky clean. Hopefully her WM loss is recoverable.

Vegas is fun. Especially in an Alistair match.

This year's men's Money in the Bank match has one of the best lineups in a while and it's going to be wasted with them all fighting in office rooms for half of it.

It wasn't perfect but it was (IMO) better. The Attitude Era had just as much stuff wrong with it as what you listed. A pornstar getting his genitalia attacked by asian stereotypes. Beaver Cleavage. DX daring women to flash them. Undertaker committing patricide. Both were bad in those regards.

Dolph Ziggler just paid Curt Hawkins to do this cameo:

Every era wrestling has its share of junk (although the Heidenreich thing was quite funny). No doubt the Ruthless Aggression Era was still filled with over sexualised nonsense but I overall enjoyed watching the programs more that period.

IMHO, the quality of actual matches were better then overall.

I love how much more of Zelina we've been seeing lately, she's great. Also that outfit she was wearing, WOW!!

    Drew continues to be awesome.

So this is Shayna's gimmick now? Basically Mark Henry's Hall of Pain schtick, but far less impressive. Meh.

Bianca continues to be really cool, and I never get tired of seeing Montez fangirl over his wife.

Poor Kairi. And some WWE defenders wonder why other fans are so annoyed with how they book Kairi. She's just losing all the damn time now, and there was no reason why they needed to do this match again besides Vince STILL trying to make people buy Nia as a "monster." Also the fact that he and WWE refuse to do anything about how botchy and dangerous Nia is, nothing at all, is pathetic.

I wish Murpy had won, he could have used it. That being said, match was really good.

Liv has improved a ton. They need to keep building her up, she's got potential. Also her finisher is pretty cool.

But Ruby, poor Ruby. She's good in the ring, she has a unique look, she's fairly charismatic and cuts pretty good promos, etc. She's one of their more all around talented women. But wow do they not book her like it, she's WAY too good to just be a jobber.

Aleister's got "star" written all over him. They just have to commit to truly pushing him. Him winning the US Title would be a good start

    Garza is charismatic AF.

    Overall, decent show.

WWE womand division isn't deep to the point where you can build up Liv without Ruby having to take a loss UNLESS they go the 50/50 booking route (which people also complain about).

In a division with Becky, Charlotte, Shayna, Asuka and a returning Nia Jax frankly the only people Ruby and Liv can really beat at the moment are each other (or maybe Kairi). It's got 2 monsters heels to feud, and the two biggest females in the industry. There's no room to elevate anyone at the moment. I dare say we need a superstar shuffle to get some talent over to Smackdown. Or Dana over on RAW to take some pins.

Frankly, the fact Nia has proven to be botchy and unsafe for years, and she still is. And yet WWE is still pushing her, and not doing anything about it, is just ridiculous.

Shayna has been floundering on the MR.

Meanwhile Kairi has "underdog babyface" written all over her, and Ruby has all-around talent. So WWE wants again has their priorities wrong imo.

I do agree though that there needs to be a talent shakeup. A few women can go to Raw who can eat pins. And SD is lacking star power, and credible babyfaces, so send some talent there. Right now it's just Sasha and Bayley, who are both heels.
