Most recently, not only did they turn Strowman Heel after Reigns completed his "journey" toward the Universal Championship but they also had Strowman lose the Money in the Bank contract. They stripped him of his connection with the WWE Universe and the potential of finally seeing him win the big one. The booking was so poorly written that we were supposed to see Strowman's loss at Crown Jewel as a "screw job" rather than a squash. Then, they have Strowman look incredibly vulnerable with a cast on his arm while other WWE Superstars beat his opponent for him only to later be stripped of his Universal Championship opportunity. He's a Monster whose booking has turned him into an Underdog. Yet he STILL gets a decent reaction from the WWE Universe.

Seth Rollns has been Intercontinental Champion on and off since last year's Wrestlemania, reformed with The Shield, and became Tag Team Champion. Two of his main feuds throughout they year have had "boring" chants in them.

The only argument that makes Rollins seem "better equipped" is because he's been protected in the mid-card while Strowman has been vulnerable in the main event.
Seth's better equipped because he's simply better. Braun, with all due respect isn't that great a performer. He's not great on the mic and he's not great in the ring. The only reason Braun is a star is because he's protected as he is. They hide his short comings by having him squash people and performing feats of strength. Seth conversely gets over by arguably being the best hardest working in-ring performer on the RAW brand.

Braun frankly is smoke and mirrors, while Seth is simply a very very talented pro-wrestler. On the mic, Seth isn't great (though better than Braun), but he's at least passable. But in the ring, you can argue he's the best worker on the main roster at the moment.

Your giving Omega too much credit. While it will hurt New Japan to lose him they can survive without him. They are pushing Jay White as their top gaijin. They are covered if Omega doesn't resign.

Not saying they can't survive without him. Just saying they lost their biggest star

Yet only one of them has had the WWE Universe loudly chant "boring" during their feuds throughout the year.

But he isn't their biggest star. Naito is the most over guy in the company.

Some announced highlights for tonight's Raw along with whether the Raw Champions will be chosen by Becky and Rollins.

    * Braun Strowman vs. Drew McIntyre

    * WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin

    * The first qualifying matches for the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles Elimination Chamber matches

From a personal perspective, I would argue that Omega was NJPW's biggest star overseas. The talent pool is unbelievable once I started watching but Omega was the one who caught my attention and brought me into NJPW.

I think Omega is ARGUABLY the bigger star in New Japan, and DEFINATELY the bigger star outside New Japan.

Tana, Naito and White are the top guys. Omega is a freelancer. Kenny wanted to be ace, NJPW said they weren't desperate. They didn't see eye to eye, so they went their seperate ways. No harm, no foul.

Shin Nihon can work with freelancers, but in house always gets first dibs.

ANd if that was the only match either of the two had all year, I might agree Braun was the more effective sports entertainer. But Seth frankly has been the work horse of the RAW brand. As far as matches on TV goes, I think you can make the arguement he's the companies MVP right now.

Maybe if your talking overseas but definitely not in company as a whole. Naito and Okada are the top dogs. New Japan isn't gonna make Kenny their ace as they already have one with Okada. LIJ popularity surpasses that of bullet club.
