Love the direction this Raw is going with Triple H coming out and putting talent over. Never expected this to happen.

Hopefully this, in turn, will light a fire under some of the Raw roster's ass. NXT talent isn't there to fill a spot, they're there to take it.

Part of that is the presentation and sadly, part of that is a lot of male wrestling fans being misogynistic dicks. Going PG helped a bit with the fans by getting more women and kids in the arenas, but the WWE *finally* changing how they presented women's wrestling via NXT and the initial main roster call-ups of Charlotte/Becky/Sasha gave it the shot in the arm to move forward.

The company didn't help with that. They often used the women as eye candy, Johnny Ace would sign models instead off athletes and would stink up the place, matches usually lasted less than 5 minutes. WWE clearly didn't gave a shit until NXT turned things around.
