Yeah, they buffed up the women. I think the womens tag belt might primariy be on Smackdown even though it floats brands. They added a LOT of women to Smackdown.

Mens division definately got deflated. But maybe a smaller roster is a good thing. Bloated rosters in the WWE unfortuantely mean a lot of guys don't have a lot to do. Smaller leaner roster potentially means less people will get wasted. Potentially.

I assume Joes is going to RAW too though, since Smackdown got the IC belt.

The Riott Squad was a female job squad. New Day actually win matches.
Certainly the New Day was more sucessful. I just got a similar vibe from the Riot Squad as far as comradery goes. And they were fun.

Unless they are going to have one of them drop the belt, unless they are going to keep them both on Smackdown and give Raw a new secondary belt, stranger things have happened.

    Speaking of deflated rosters

    205 Live is now

    Akira Tozawa
    Ariya Davari
    Drew Gulak
    Jack Gallagher
    Humberto Carilla
    Mark Andrews
Mike Kanellis (maybe on his way out with his wife)
    Oney Lorcan
    Brian Kendrick
    Tony Nese

Also Lucha House Party who wrestle on both this and Raw, Noam Dar is still listed by WWE too but most sources say he's headed to NXT UK exclusively

I'm surprised they just haven't made this a division on Raw or Smackdown, it's a tiny group

Vince needs to be extremely careful how he books Reigns on Smackdown. The WWE Universe won't hesitate to turn on Reigns if he's still being booked as the "future of the WWE." The cheers have already died down significantly since his return.

Smackdown has done fine without him since the brand split, hopefully Vince learned that the WWE Universe doesn't need Roman pushed down our throats.

Chad Gable would be better off on 205 instead of Smackdown.

Also Mark Andrews is a NXT UK guy.

    Black and Ric
    Andrade
    Baron Corbin

    Heath Slater
    Jason Jordan (might be retiring)
    Usos
    Jinder Mahal
    Ascension
    Mojo Rawley
    No Way Jose
    Rey Mysterio
    Rhyno (might be leaving)
    Sami Zayn
the Singhs (though more managers than wrestlers)
    Seth Rollins
    Miz
    Titus O'neil

    Women are..

    Alexa Bliss
Alicia Fox (though she's rumored to be in the doghouse)
    Becky
    Dana Brooke
    Lacy Evans
    Naomi
    Nattie
    Nia and Tamina

Sasha (maybe on the way out)
    Zelina

Raw has a ton more part timers and non-wrestlers so I'm leaving them off

Maybe they could do a Team Canada heel group with Sami, Eric Young and Bobby Roode.

Interestingly enough Heavy Machinery hasn't been officially listed with any roster yet, wonder where they are headed, maybe back to NXT?

Nikki Cross is the only other one without an official roster spot, I'd say Nikki to Raw where the womens division is leaner and Heavy Machinery to Smackdown where the same is true for the tag divison, unless all 3 are headed back to NXT or I could see Nikki to NXT UK maybe.

With 205 being only a 1 hour show and only having a single title, it technically doesn't need a large roster.

That said, a part of me does wonder if maybe they aren't simply going to fold the cruiser weight division into RAW.

Course, they could easily call up some NXT stars into 205 live. A LOT of top nxt talent can technically fall under the cruiser weight category. And if they ever hold another cruiser weight classic they will have all the talent they need. It depends on whether or not they want the brand to grow or not.

NXT needs some new talent too, I'm sure a LOT of AEW guys would have been on Trip's wishlist, that said I think a few journeyman veteran guys would be good for the roster, though some may be considered too "old" at this point

out of guys they might be able to sign I'd pick for the Men

    Eli Drake
    Willie Mack
James Storm (had a shot already, I still think he'd be a good midcarder or tag guy)
    Crazzy Steve
    El Hijo del Fantasma
    Drago
    Texano jr.
    Jax Dane and Crimson
    Ross and Marshal Von Erich

    As for Women

    Rosemary
    Sienna
    Kiera Hogan
    Tessa Blanchard
    ivelisse
    Christina Von Eerie
Cheerleader Melissa/Alissa Flash/whatever she is calling herself now

I don't think any of these with a few exceptions (Drake,Fantasma Blanchard, Rosemary, Hogan) would be big stars/main event level but they'd be good signings to fill out the roster.

Roman, Bayley, and Finn on SDL, no surprise there. It's be expected with the Fox thing coming up.

Hopefully Ember and Mickie can get something cool to do with a brand split.

Called the Kairi and Asuka thing, it's such a "Vince move." Also pity if means that Asuka is probably being demoted from the title picture and that Kairi is losing to Shayna yet again. But at least hopefully they win the tag belts relatively soon because there's no freaking way that they should lose to The IIconics.

Always nice seeing Vince and Elias getting beat up. Granted I wish that it'd have been Kofi with Vince, but oh well.
