I can buy it. It must be frustrating as Heck to spend all this time and effort building up these prospects in NXT, years sometimes, and give them developed characters/arcs. Only to have most of it thrown out the second they hit the MR, and a lot of them either being misused or just not used much at all.

Honestly this is why long-term it's a bad idea to have ONE person with absolute control over everything. And it's not just Vince and it's not just pro wrestling, it's anything. Ultimately everyone is at the mercy of said person's whims, and even if everybody else realizes that they're wrong, that person is going to do it their way anyway. And yet EVERYONE suffers in the end as a consequence.

Sasha basically said as much. In NXT they were told more or less where their character were going to go and there felt like a plan. On the MR, there's no structure or consistency and things keep changing on a dime, so she just kind of showed up every week and asked what they were doing that week. It's part of her frustrations I think.

Supposedly everyone was blindsided by Asuka losing the title to Charlotte 12 days before Mania as well because Vince made the decision like a couple of hours before the show (and they were still advertising the #1 contender's match that morning). Why even have writers if you're just going to change everything on whim and waste their time like this.
