I actually read it somewhere that Vince doesn't like Ember at all.

It's not surprising because if you're not a hot, white blonde you're immediately fighting an uphill battle in the WWE's main female roster.

I'm actually okay with Ember not winning the belt. It's too soon for Bayley to drop it. But maybe Ember can find a tag parter and give the tag division a shot. Given how quickly the current champs are blowing through the division (Fire and Desire are the only team they haven't beaten at this point), they could use more bodies.

But if she drops it to Charlotte, oh boy. Why not give the title shot to Sonya? She's got potential. She doesn't even to win really, just give her a chance to show what she can do. Or Liv. Or freaking Asuka or Kairi since Vince won't let them win the tag belts it would seem, etc. But nah, gotta go with Charlotte yet again (in Vince's mind).

Also to answer Immortal Weapon's point, JR had to show Vince Asian porn sites to show Vince that US fans can find Asian women sexy, which Vince was apparently flabbergasted by as well, in order to get him to hire Gail Kim. That, says a lot sadly. And seeing how Asuka & Kairi have been booked on the MR, not much has changed it would seem.

Shibata's attack on KENTA was a one off as he's not cleared to wrestle.

So hopefully, nobody had their hopes up on that one.

I kinda did given then B Dazzler situation as Shibata and Nak are 2 of my favorite modern New Japan guys. But Shibata had a haematoma, which is far worse than Bryan.

I mean Shibata nearly died, his injury was one that other people regularly die from. He needed brain surgery, unless you can be 110% sure that he'd be ok, I wouldn't risk it. And clearly they weren't since he took no shots anywhere near his head for that entire segment.
