I actually kinda agree... Maybe it's just the lighting so it's kinda hard to see all the detail, but in that picture it does look a little busy.

This was a multi-million dolloar deal. I'm sure Saudi Arabia wasn't the first place the WWE would want to do a show, but the money sounded too good to pass up, at least at the time.

I know greed was a factor but morally why do a show in SA? I mean there not hurting for money that badly.

It's pro wrestling. Morals were never a part of it to begin with.

Watching the CMLL Grand Prix now. It's basically CMLL vs RoH with a few other indies thrown in, like El Mesias:

It's a business built on riling up the general populace to pay to watch fake fighting with it's roots back in the old carnival days when legit shooters would jack up hapless schmucks who thought they had a shot at winning. It's *always* been that greedy.

I'm reading it now and it seems to be part of an angle. That Aires and Impact have been getting very "real" in promos . Like earlier in night Aires went at Johnny Impact during Abyss Hall of Fame induction deal. So it seems to be playing out as some angle and part of possibly creating an Authority figure onscreen with Callis .

If this is a work, the part that sort of bothers me is Ares no selling after the match ended.

I think creating the illusion that something could be a shoot for the wrestling smarts is fine so long as it doesn't hurt the storytelling for the casual fans who vastly outnumber the wrestling smarts out there. If creating a worked shoot ends up making it all look fake, then it does more damage than good. That was the problem with a lot of Russo's stuff in WCW. He damaged the overall big picture just so he could create a small bit of buzz on the internet.
