Nice looking out MoS! What happened to the other thread? Shame to lock it with almost 10 Mil. Views. Great picture of T'Challa and the Panther, would be great to have that one in a beautiful frame.

The theory is that closing the large threads will fix the loading issues in the community boards.

Seriously why couldn't he just look like that in the film? That is Perfect.

Also reminds me of this post I saw on another forum about BP's visuals.

I wonder how "prestigious" a film is perceived as because of the camera lens. It sounds ridiculous, but film IS a visual medium. Think about it: Black Panther is objectively a "prestigious" movie; it has all the cultural expectations and film-making/storytelling devices that makes a film be seen as such. So I wondered - why are there SO MANY people who passionately say Black Panther isn't prestigious, like TDK and Logan (even though it's as prestigious as TDK, and way more so than Logan)? It's the camera lens.

Black Panther, unlike TDK and Logan, has an almost "plain" look, like you wouldn't dare to think it's fancy by looking at it (as beautiful as it is):

But then you have the fancy, Best Picture contender look of Logan (which doesn't come close to Black Panther in terms of quality, despite being great in its own right):

Of course the quality of a film is the main factor in how as film is viewed, but it's interesting to see how the visual aspects of a film influences how we view it.

They would probably give Coogler more creative freedom in terms of the type of camera/lens used just like the way Gunn was able to use Red Weapon Dragon and Panavision Primo Lens 70 for GOTG2 that added to the visual aesthetics of that film.

I still think for the most part, the visuals in BP were great

I think outside of Infinity War (which got to use special cameras) its the most beautiful film in the MCU.

However, there was still something missing and this illustrated it for me. I want it to be beautiful, but not necessarily too clean.
