I don't think the two are all that inconsistent, but I still get nervous. I like McGregor's work with Killmonger a lot. I'd hate to have someone throw it out.

I also hope we see him shirtless with a pet Leopard at some point.

Suddenly out of thin air a Predator appears as his cloaking device reveals his presence.

Zuri: "Predator... What are you doing here?"

The Predator: "It's challenge day."

Zuri: 'No, I mean how did you even know where Wakanda was?"

The Predator: "Prince N'jobo be snitching!"

Zuri: "That Mother Frakker still showing people where Wakanda is!"

Shuri: "You can do this T'challa!"

T'challa: "Wait a minute... Before we fight there is more to this story than just that am I right!"

The Predator: "Well, yeah since my movie did not do so well at the box office and the script was all over the place Sterling... OOPS I mean Prince N'jobo suggested that I piggybacked off your franchise and tried to garner more interest moving forward now that Disney owns me, the Aliens franchise and Avatar!"

Alien Queen: "Skeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!"

Jake Sully: "Wakanda Forever and whatnot!"

Storm: "Dayum it's getting crowded up in here!"

I had same fears til i read the linked interview. The writer explicitly mentioned mcgregor over and over. He also said he read Rise. He seems to be doing his homework.

You were in the running to be the Black Panther writer post-Secret Wars but Coates edged you out for the job? And the direction you had planned for the comics is the same direction you carried over to the cartoon?

That conjurers up the proverbial bitter sweet feeling of what is to come this weekend versus what should've been the case 2 years ago in the comics...
