I don't think movies need a niche as much as comics.

With the movies, we have a million little things we don't have in comics. Facial expressions, tone of voice, etc. No one is gonna confuse MU Cap and T'Challa, even if they end up with the same leadership role

Yea, I agree they don't need niche roles as much in the movies, altho Cap and BP do seem to have the same fish out of water/no quipping/get made fun of for being so serious thing. imo

Also, I think the Russos try to emphasize T'Challa as the black captain america, physically. The running sequences in CW and IW, and having mirror image fights side by side vs the alien redshirts. Also how they limited both to getting only one kick against the other (and the same type of kick) when they fought in Civil War, and how they both had them get punched by Bucky the same way (and fall backwards the same way) in their first encounter with Winter Soldier (Cap in highway scene TWS and BP in jailbreak scene CW).

It's very subtle (and sometimes not so subtle), but i peep what the Russos be doing lol. Esp with how they character protect Cap, but that's a diff topic
