You 100% missed the point of the Ross/T'challa relationship then. It was a microcosm of the greater issue of Wakanda opening up.

Ross's job would have entaled him telling his CIA superiors that Wakanda had a king with super powers who wears a bulletproof suit. And he didn't despite it being a "national security" thing as well.

It would be a heel turn. It would be a betrayal... which is what heels do. Like W'kabi.
It's no more a heel than when T'Calla was revealed as a spy on the Avengers.

Again, if the roles were reversed and the US almost invaded Wajands, you don't think T'Calla would plan for the possibility of it happening? That's simply what people on their position do. They prepare for the worst.

you are comparing a CIA agent to a King. You can't just reverse the roles. The analogy doesn't work.

and "almost invaded" = trying to send weapons for 12 hours before he was killed

Bruh... Russo's and fiege said had they known BP was going to be a cultural event they would of given him a bigger role in IW... They did reshoots in AV4 with Them taking place in Wakanda. Coogler is back for BP 2 and Every. Movie. BP. Has. Been. In. Grossed 1 billy... He did it in his FIRST solo movie. Something no other hero has done. Not even the Avengers 1-3 could hit 700 mill domestic and BP did it... On his first movie.... Fluke? I'll let King T'Challa answer that for ya

Okay, lets use a closer analogy. If Nakia found out the US was going to invade Wakands, do you think she would have an obligation to inform Wakanda if she made friends with people in the US they helped stop it? Would she be a heel if she did?

Again, its just a part of their job. Thats why we have intelligence agencies and military. To find potrntial threats and prepare in the event the threat lives up to the potential.

a closer analogy would be a low level war dog (not the future queen lol) who used his contacts to barter a trade with the president of the united states (secret for war criminal), they then end up in another mission together, and teh president saves the war dogs life in an act of friendship but at the same time gave up top secret information.

And the war dog kept it to himself and just continued on being a war dog acting like it never happened.

You keep skipping everythign that happened in between to make your point. If the war dog went and told T'challa the top secret information... yes... it would be a betrayal and he woudl be a dick. A dick that did his job? Sure, but still a dick.

    Here we go again !!

confirmed Nnedi has read only Coates Panther

confirmed they can't just write female exceptionalism, they have to take sly shots

confirmed im probably being way to sensitive about this

confirmed they literally turned comic shuri 100% into MCU shuri but with added crow powers

only cool thing confirmed is that Okoye spoilers:
is the only true dora left. she is the only one loyal to the throne
    end of spoilers

issue is pure set up btw. the story is pretty much the solicit and preview. only real mystery is spoilers:
who is the person DM'ing shuri
    end of spoilers

Shuri was fairly average. MoS covered the rest.

Tchalla is officially Queen of England status. Might as well join Avengers full time. Lol

The spending bill to setup the new Avengers base and paying the upcoming agents of Wakanda must have taken forever to get through committee.

the queen of england stuff doesn't even fit with the depiction we got in Season 2 either.

The whole BP writing crop needs a forest fire at this point so something new can be reborn. yeesh

If the War Dog discovered that the US was a potential military threat to Wakanda, he likely would and SHOULD inform Wakanda. Doesn't matter if he becomes BFF's with the president, your duty to your nation should come first. We're talking about a soldier, not a vender at a hot dog stand. Vows and pledges were likely made in regards to putting duty to your nation first. If the War Dog isn't doing that, then he needs t consider a different line of employment. A fisherman perhaps... or maybe something in retail.

If the War Dog were to fulfil his duty to Wakanda at the expense of his friendship with the president I could entertain the notion of considering it dickish... but I certainly wouldn't describe it as a heel turn. It's not a heel turn to do what you're supposed to do in the best interest of your nation. Agree or disagree with it, there's a viable side there.

When the Doras exposed T'Challa hiding Namor to Shuri, was that a betrayal to him? Probably. Dickish? Arguably yes. Was that a heel turn on their part? I would argue no. Sometimes duty to ones nation comes first. At least in their line of work.

And if these women are so wise that they can decide what needs to happen in the country, why didn't they run for a council position. Is the official government ineffective?

We saw how worthless it was in season 2. The only govt role was beg T'challa for help lol.

So in two weeks, everyone panics T'challa is gone. Hell, that may be T'challa's best feat yet lol. Wakanda falls apart on a long holiday.

Redjack. I think you can rework your pitch. All you have to do is make it Wakanda Govt. does "something", Tchalla get declared enemy of the state. Bast stays with him so he can still be BP. Current writers are giving you a set up for a transition for your story.

I actually enjoyed Shuri today and was happy to see that she didn't ignore the elements of what Coates had written her as. It was a very nice read and looking forward to the next issue!
